Reviewing Extracted Data

After Freightdog AI processes an email, the extracted data is available in the Data tab for you to review, verify, and edit.

The Email tab

After processing completes, the Email tab shows a preview of the processed emails in the conversation thread. Each preview shows the sender name, subject line, body preview, and received date. Click the “Go to data” button to switch to the Data tab.

The Data tab

The Data tab displays a form with all the data fields extracted from the email. The specific fields depend on your organization’s configuration and the email category. Common field types include text fields, date fields, number fields, dropdown selections, checkboxes, and multi-value fields.

Editing data

All extracted fields are editable. Simply click on any field and modify the value. Changes are saved automatically after about 2 seconds — there is no manual save button needed. Date fields use a date picker and some include a “Copy to all” feature to apply the same date to all similar fields.

Validation

Fields may have validation rules (e.g., required fields, number ranges). If a field has a validation error, it will be highlighted with an error message below it. A warning icon will also appear on the Data tab label. Validation errors are informational warnings — they do not prevent you from saving or running actions.

Forgetting an email thread

If you need to start over or remove all extracted data for an email thread, go to the Email tab, scroll to the bottom, and click “Forget email thread”. A confirmation dialog will appear. After confirming, you can process the email again from scratch. This is useful when processing produced incorrect results, you want to re-process with a different category, or processing appeared stuck.
