Once the Freightdog AI add-in is installed, this guide walks you through logging in and navigating the interface.
When you first open Freightdog AI, you will see a welcome screen. If your organization uses Microsoft 365, click the Log in button. A Microsoft sign-in window will appear where you enter your work email and password. Authorize the Freightdog AI application if prompted, and you will be redirected to the main interface.
Notes on first-time login:
A pop-up dialog may appear asking for Microsoft permissions. This is normal.
If you see a landing page with “Schedule a call to sign up”, your account may not yet be linked to a Freightdog organization. Contact your administrator.
Sessions expire for security reasons. Simply click Log in again to refresh your session. No data is lost.
Once logged in, the panel has three tabs at the top:
Email — Shows the email preview and upload controls
Data — Shows extracted data fields that you can review and edit
Actions — Shows available follow-up actions you can execute
There is also a profile menu (three dots icon) in the top right corner where you can see your name and log out.
You can pin the Freightdog AI panel so it stays open as you navigate between emails. When pinned, the panel automatically updates to show data for whichever email you currently have selected. To pin the panel, look for the pin icon in the panel’s title bar (this is a standard Outlook feature).
